SUMMARY:IEE Event: Freezing Order: A True Story of Money Laundering\, Murder\, and Surviving Vladimir Putin’s Wrath
DESCRIPTION:Member Event (with YPO) with Bill Browder \n\n\n\nA true story and New York Times Bestseller! When Browder’s Russian lawyer\, Sergei Magnitsky\, was beaten to death in a Moscow jail\, he made it his life’s mission to go after Magnitsky’s killers and make sure they faced justice. The first step of that mission was to uncover who was behind the $230 million tax refund scheme that Magnitsky was killed over. As Browder tracked the money as it flowed out of Russia and through the Baltics\, Western Europe\, and the Americas\, he was shocked to discover who exactly was a beneficiary of the crime. \n\n\n\nFor more information and to register: Freezing Order: A True Story of Money Laundering\, Murder\, and Surviving Vladimir Putin’s Wrath | Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence (pitt.edu)
